Reziena participated in the 'UST Contract Department Leading School and Participating Company Agreement Ceremony' held by the University of Science and Technology (UST), along with 7 national research institute schools and 13 companies, to foster the R&D industry in the field of national strategic technology.
This agreement ceremony was held to lay the foundation for government-funded research institutes and national strategic technology R&D experts to foster them in joining hands for research on future key technologies. Reziena explained that it is conducting full-scale joint research on core semiconductor ultrasonic material technology with Professor Byeong-Cheol Lee of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
Meanwhile, Reziena is researching technology development by receiving technology transfer from KIST in a capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducer (CMUT).
Seung-Woo Shin, CEO of Reziena, said, "As the medical beauty market has proliferated recently, the importance of ultrasonic technology has been highlighted. Reziena will utilize a capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducer to introduce innovative products with new technology."
